 Voluntary & Community Sector Assembly

The Health & Social Care Liaison project also facilitates the Moorlands Together Voluntary & Community Sector Assembly, which meets quarterly in Leek. 

The Assembly addresses matters that concern local voluntary and community groups and elects representatives onto all the Task Groups of the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) - an affiliation of agencies, organisations and stakeholders drawn from the public, private, voluntary and community sectors based in or active within the District.  These representatives can then influence the focus of the work of these Task Groups, which feed into the LSP Board.
