voluntary group operates in the Staffordshire Moorlands you may be
eligible to apply for one of our community grants:

The New Generation
Fund
Aiming to provide
benefit to children, young people or young parents aged 25 years or
under in Leek, The New Generation Fund wants to help increase their
experiences and learning opportunities in a variety of innovative
ways.
If
your project fits this criteria and your group works in Leek and is
fully constituted with an annual income of less than £5,000 you may be
able to gain a £150 grant.

applications is available by contacting our
Grants Officer. Applications received after this date

Staffordshire Moorlands
Community Chest
Administered by SMCVS on behalf of Staffordshire Moorlands District
Council, grants of up to £500 are available to
small groups in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Organisations can apply on an annual basis for small funding towards
running or equipment costs, events and projects to help improve the
quality of life for people in the local community.

Local Members
Initiative Scheme
SMCVS is, once again, administering a small
pot of money on behalf of local County Council Member, Neal Podmore.
Awards of up to £150 are available under a small grant scheme funded
through the County Councils Local Member Initiative Scheme to assist
voluntary and community groups in the Leek area.

The Biddulph
Community Chest
The Biddulph Community Chest assists small-scale
projects that aim to improve the local Biddulph community.
Administered by SMCVS, the fund is
open to all constituted community groups and charities that are
committed to making Biddulph and the surrounding area a better place
to live. Up to £1000 is available for projects which bring about
sustainable environmental, social and economic improvements. Grants of
up to £250 are available for local football clubs.

Robbie
William's Give It Sum Fund
Aiming to make a positive difference to the lives of people living
in North Staffordshire by giving
local people the chance to change their communities for the
better.
Local community or voluntary groups may
apply for grants at three different levels.
The Community Chest gives grants up to £1,000.
The Main Fund awards grants up to £5,000 or up to £15,000. All
three levels can be used towards running costs and capital purchases
for a range of activities. Match
funding is not required.

Rural
Access
Grant
Grants of up to £1,000 are available annually for small scale
projects in Staffordshire aimed at improving some
aspect of rural access.
Please contact us with any ideas you might have for transport projects
in your area.
